Shahi Pulao

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 'kesar', cardamoms, almonds, raisins, cloves, cashewnuts

Preparation:

  • Boil the rice by adding turmeric to it.
  • Sift the rice through the sieve and spread it on a plate to get cooled.
  • Heat the ghee in the 'karhai'.
  • Add 2 cloves, rice, sugar and dry fruits to it.
  • Cook it till the sugar water dries up.
