Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh smashed six sixes in an over against England in their Twenty20 World Cup match on Wednesday.

Yuvraj belted fast bowler Stuart Broad for 36 runs in an over to become the first player to achieve the mark in the shortest form of cricket.

The left-hander launched his sequence of 6-6-6-6-6-6 in the 19th over to boost India to a total of 218 for four from their 20 overs.

After reaching his half-century off a record 12 balls, he was eventually out for 58.
